It is worthwhile being an Early Bird. See below.
It seems a long time since we enjoyed the bubbling humour and enthusiastic tuition of Charles Sluga –and it is. What with Covid and countrywide lockdowns, it’s been three long years since we last saw Charles. And it will be one more year before he joins us for another sparkling watercolour painting course at the Watermill. So, we are looking forward to meeting up again this time next year (details and a link below.)
Charles’s watercolour above is called Lunchtime in Lucca, the quintessential Italian wall town which is one of the optional locations on our Wednesday excursions during a painting week. And here’s his take on the famous demijohns at the Watermill:

Charles Sluga is a highly respected and sought-after Australian watercolour artist, who has gained a reputation for his versatility in his technique and choice of subject matter.
Charles is also a great teacher, with a friendly and enthusiastic approach and an eagerness to impart his wide knowledge. He not only teaches technique, but also how to think and see as an artist. His classes are relaxed, informal and inspiring. One student said: “In addition to being a very talented artist, Charles is an extremely capable and professional teacher.â€

A four-year break is far too long. Come and join us as we make up for lost time. And there is a bonus:
We have an Early Bird special offer: if you book before 31 December 2022, there is a £75 (English pounds) discount on Charles’s 2023 course
