Yesterday our international group of more than 80 painters set out from the Watermill to the nearby village of Verrucola to paint the charming little white chapel, seen above in tutor Mike Willdridge’s demonstration picture. It was another day of pleasant painting and convivial camaraderie.
As usual, many of our guests sent their paintings to our online gallery, and again, I’ve been able to choose only a few of them to display here. As ever, my apologies to those I had to leave out. It is not a sign of artistic merit: I chose the paintings at random.
And again, I’ve made one of those short, fun Facebook slideshows, so you can see the paintings a little larger. You can view them by clicking here.
Tomorrow we are off to the market in the nearby mediaeval walled town of Fivizzano, but what caught Mike’s eye was these two ladies chatting away in a corner. I wonder if they’re talking about our ‘virtual’ visit? Here Mike’s demonstration painting, and I will bring you more highlights from our gallery tomorrow. Happy painting!
