Our thanks to all our guests and our tutor Randy Hale for another creative and convivial painting week at the Watermill. Despite the weather not being of its best, we managed to see all the local sights of which we are so proud – castle and convent, market and mountains, seaside and city – and produced a prodigious amount of art, as we saw at the group’s farewell exhibition (suitably accompanied by bubbly and bonhomie).

We look forward to seeing many of our guests again next year and in the meantime, we wish them buon viaggio and happy painting. Talking of which, below is a painting, by his son James, of our friend William Shand, who has been with us no fewer than 18 times. And he’s busy planning his 19th visit!

Our Watermill painting courses are pretty full this year, and we are already taking bookings for 2024, That, too, is filling fast, so It would be wisest to book now to ensure your place. And there is a bonus: if you book any one of our 2024 creative courses now, you can enjoy them at 2023 prices.
