We’ve just been talking to our new knitting tutor, the young and talented Georgia Farrell, who is on a whistlestop tour of America at the moment, and, of course, she hasn’t stopped knitting. And she found a moment or two to tell us about what she’s making at the moment.
Georgia will be with us for two individual weeks at the end of April and beginning of May, and she has devised special projects for the participants to try each week. One is a ‘knitting collage’, in which participants will make collages inspired by architectural designs – and then knit them. You can find out more in another short video from Georgia herself. Just click here.
Georgia has created a sampler style project to take you through some of the different techniques and stitches she uses to create her architecturally inspired textured patterns, giving you a real insight into the way she works. You will also spend creative time with the collage project above, before translating your creations into knitting, by combining colour and texture.

We still have a few spaces on her first week with us, from Saturday 29 April to Saturday 6 May and, due to a cancellation, the Lippi suite is currently free for her second week from Saturday 6 May to Saturday 13 May.
Book now and enjoy inspiring tuition, warm hospitality, stunning scenery, delicious food and wine – and, of course, the convivial company of fellow knitters.
