In the near 20 years of going to Cecil Rice’s Art classes I have been able to develop as an artist with my own style under his guidance. Not only have I gained a thorough understanding of how to approach a painting, but also what to look out for to achieve a successful composition in any subject of my choice.  His knowledge of colours and colour mixes are inexhaustible and through the years his willingness to explore other artists has challenged us to not stagnate, but to keep on developing as artists
