Will more sales come tumbling down for Bill’s book?

Learning to blow one’s own trumpet doesn’t come easy to Englishmen like Bill, who are taught diffidence from the year dot.

But when a man you admire gives unstinting praise to a book you wrote years ago, it is not a time to be diffident, nor, as the other cliché has it, to hide your light under the proverbial bushel. So, we’ll be like Joshua, blow that trumpet and let sales resistance come tumbling down!

Yes, we gave a copy of A Matter of Perspective, a historic murder mystery written by Bill, to friend and near neighbour, Stuart Murphy, with whom we’ve spend many happy hours conversing about art, the universe and the Meaning of ‘Liff.’

We think he enjoyed Bill’s book! I had to marvel at your ability to weave such a compelling story of art and engineering, intrigue and murder, retribution and greed, perspective and “perspective,” and even a bit of sex, around the familiar and classic story of Brunelleschi’s dome. Bravo!”
