It was a perfect week that far exceeded our expectations — our comfortable room with a beautiful view, the gourmet food, the friendly, helpful staff and the beautiful grounds. We were pampered. Meals at the Watermill were served at a large dining table. During the week we were taken to restaurants where we were served local, but gourmet, food. A “picnic” lunch was a beautiful spread, in a room of an old monastery.
Our painting group was driven to interesting sites to paint in a van and cars with impeccable coordination and timing. Lois, Bill and Karsten are truly gracious, amazing hosts.

We will remember your wonderful hospitality, delicious cuisine, comfortable premises, breathtaking environment, flawless service, kindness of everyone we met … a great blend of many beautiful and pleasant things that made our journey unforgettable.
On top of all these pleasures painting with a master was certainly the icing on the cake. It was another delightful, challenging and learning experience we took with us. We learned a lot from Herman, and I cannot wait to practice the new techniques I learned.
