My wife and I have just returned from a splendid week at the Watermill. She, as a nonpainter, enjoyed joining the painters’ off-site trips, the walks, the excursion to Cinque Terre, and of course the tranquil surroundings of the Mill for reading, relaxing and exploring. The painters had a stimulating and diligent tutor who ensured we made the most of the beautiful landscape opportunities as well as the spacious studio. We give top marks to the whole Watermill experience – the setting, the programme, the accommodation, the wining and dining and of course our attentive and generous hosts and their lovely staff.
