I have taken a zillion workshops from some of the very best watercolorist all of which were beneficial to my growth as an artist, but Andy Evansen brought a special enthusiasm and understanding to the watercolor medium that I didn’t experience in other workshops. His use and insistence upon value studies and painting smaller scale paintings was great. Andy is a terrific artist and a delight to study under. I highly recommend his classes and approach to painting watercolors.
