It is worthwhile being an Early Bird. See below.
Whether it is painting in the glorious scenery that surrounds the Watermill or capturing its ancient workings with your brush, you’ll have fun and learn lots painting with Tim Wilmot when he returns here next year. (Details and link below.)
The wonderful watercolour above is Tim’s evocation of the interior of the 19th century turbine-driven mill, currently being restored. Lois’ video slideshow below includes it among a selection of his vibrant watercolours of some of the great locations we visit on our painting week.

Tim Wilmot is an artist from Bristol in the UK, specialising in watercolours, exploiting the medium with tone and light. He particularly likes painting landscapes in a loose or impressionistic style.
Tim is also an inspiring teacher. He has been a tutor at the Watermill for several years and his weeks are always inspiring and fun. Tim’s course is suitable for all levels, and he’ll help you to improve your drawing skills, loosen up your style, learn how to incorporate figures in a landscape, as well as nurturing you own artistic ambitions. One of last year’s guests said: “Unrivalled hospitality and total good fun. I love Tim Wilmot’s style.â€
Come and join in the fun and enjoy excellent tuition, warm hospitality, delicious food and wine, spectacular scenery and, of course, the convivial company of like-minded people. Already seven people have signed up for Tim’s 2023 course, even though it is more than a year away. So now is the time to get your reservation in.
And we have an Early Bird special offer: if you book before 31 December 2022, there is a £75 (English pounds) discount on Tim’s 2023 course.
