It is worthwhile being an Early Bird. See below
American Watermill painting tutor Mary Padgett’s verdict after her first tutoring week at the Watermill last year: “It’s a gem of a placeâ€
She adds: “You have created an ideal environment for artist guests. All in my group felt welcomed and well-cared for throughout the week.
“One of my goals in my workshops is to nurture connections between participants and you set the stage for us to become a community of artists.â€
Mary will be with us again next summer (dates and a link below) and she would love you to join her for inspiring tuition, warm hospitality, stunning locations, delicious food and, of course, the convivial company of like-minded people.
Mary Padgett is a passionate pastellist from Syracuse, New York, USA. She says: “There is no better way to visit Italy than as a plein air artist! We’ll focus on observation with all our senses; looking, listening, and smelling the unique character of the Tuscan landscape to create drawings and paintings from the experience.â€
Her students love her teaching. As one of them says: “Your gentle nudges have given us all better way of seeing.â€
***Don’t forget you will be Cool and Green at the Watermill: all our public rooms (including the studio) and all our bedrooms are air-conditioned, powered by our hidden array of photovoltaic panels which make us self-sufficient in electricity.
We have a special Early Bird offer: if you book before 31 December 2022, there is a £75 (English pounds) discount on Mary’s 2023 course.
