The memories linger on, continued (again)

Linda Franson‘s sketch captures the atmosphere of the weekly market in the nearby walled town of Fivizzano

Hard on the heels of yesterday’s paintings sent in by Bill Fields, a guest on Pamme Turner’s painting course earlier this month, come a few more paintings, sent to me by Pamme herself, made during the week by other course participants, reinforcing my contention that the delights of a Watermill creative course linger on and on.

Dotted about here are just a few of the vibrant sketches participants made during the week, capturing the colourful atmosphere of a Watermill painting course.

Thank you very much for sending those to us, Pamme, and for the photograph below of some of the work of your students, displayed on the steps of the Tuscan House in the Watermill courtyard.

Pamme Turner will be back with us next year for another of her inspiring courses where you can enjoy her enthusiasm and teaching skills at first hand. Why not join Pamme’s 2023 course, not just for inspiring tuition, but also a spectacular setting, warm hospitality, stunning painting locations, delicious food and wine and the convivial company of like-minded people.

And there is another bonus: if you book a place on Pamme’s course before 1 September 2022 you can enjoy this 2023 course at 2022 prices. But to be sure of your place, now is the time to book: six people have already made their reservations.

The spring daffodils should be in full bloom for Pamme’s course next year.

You are an amazing artist. Your knowledge of art history and your artistic skill are unmatched. It was the trip of a life time. We were so well cared for by Bill, Lois , Karston and the entire staff. The facility was fabulous. The food was delicious. I give the entire experience a 10 out of 10.
