Watermill painting tutor, Paul Talbot-Greaves recently published the snowy picture above on his Facebook page. He says: “Looks like some people here in the UK will be receiving some snow this weekend. This painting was from a particular year when the icy weather hung around for months. I think snow makes great paintings. What do you think?â€
Well Paul, to be honest, I much prefer the sunshine and the pictures you made during your last course at the Watermill, particularly this one of the local road from Posara to the nearby walled mediaeval town of Fivizzano and the wonderful shades of green in the sunshine.
If, like me, you prefer it warm and sunny, why not join me and Paul for his painting course next summer? He will be with us from Saturday 20 August to Saturday 27 August 2022. Details and a link below.
And talking of green, don’t forget that you will be Cool and Green at the Watermill: all our bedrooms in all our public rooms are air-conditioned powered by our hidden photovoltaic cells, which make us self-sufficient in electricity.
