I have just been looking through the bouyant bookings for our 2023 creative courses at the Watermill (Some 250 people have already reserved their places But we do have room for a few more.) In the next few days I thought I would tell you a bit more about the tutors where we still have a few places. First up Carl March, who already has nine painters booked into his course, so we still have roomFor two or three more painters (and their non-painting partners, if they would like to join them.)
Carl March calls his course at the Watermill ‘Drawing and Painting for Pleasure’ and that is just what you’ll get if you join this international artist on his painting course here next summer.
You will be out at stunning locations in unspoiled rural Tuscany Italy, capturing the scenery with your pencil and brush.
.Carl, an English painter and printmaker, has studied in Milan and lived in Dubai: a truly international artist! Drawing and design are his passions, and he likes to experiment with various drawing mediums, combining them with traditional watercolour painting processes to create distinctively subtle works. He is also an excellent teacher. As one of his students says: “Carl has a gentle but effective way of teaching and we have learnt a lot from him. His classes are not only well planned and informative but also great fun.â€
Carl will be with us from Saturday 16 July to Saturday, 23 July 2022. Come and share the pleasure with us, with inspiring teaching, warm hospitality, stunning location, delicious food and wine and the convivial company of like-minded people. Oh, and you will be Cool and Green at the Watermill: all our rooms are air-conditioned, the part they provided by our hidden array of photovoltaic cells which make us self-sufficient in electricity.
