More than 70 people signed up for Mike Willdridge’s latest online interactive painting session with the Watermill last Thursday. That’s Mike’s picture made during the session above – and below I’ve collected eight of the dozens of pictures that our participants sent in of their efforts. Don’t they look good?
What fascinates me is that although Mike suggested the family group in his picture at the top, many of our participants chose their own groups. So, we have different sizes of families, two dogs, no dogs, just as it took the painters’ fancy. What fun!
You too can join in the fun at our next online interactive painting sessions. Coming to a screen near you soon:
Next its “Arctic Ice” (above) with Randy Hale on Thursday 1 December at 3.30pm (UK time, GMT. Please check what time this will be in your own time zone.). This, the latest of our Watermill online interactive sessions, will last for three hours and we ask for a donation from you to take part. If you can’t make it on the day, don’t worry: as a registrant you will receive a link to the video of the session for you to follow in your own time. What’s more, Randy will give a short critique of your workshop painting when you post it to the gallery. That’s Randy’s practice painting above.
After Randy’s icy scene, it’s time to go skating with Mike! Join him again on Thursday 15 December at 2.30pm (UK time, GMT) for a session of joyous “figures skating” – an excellent way to ease yourself into the holiday season. Please note that the time is different from Randy’s session and please check the starting time in your own time zone. Here’s Mike’s practice picture:
