  • A golden meal

Watercolour on arches 860 gsm, rough, 74 x 53 cm.

This painting simply represents the cows of my neighbour. He just served them a winter meal and the sunlight was hitting the scenery, which gave a marvellous subject matter to paint!

  • Blessing Berlin

Watercolour on arches 860 gsm, rough, 74 x 53 cm.

This tourist here climbed up the cupola of the Berliner Dom (Germany) to take a look at these 12 impressive statues from behind, placed on the outer circle of the cupola. They all look towards the city, as if they were blessing it!

  • Dark and Light II

Watercolour on Waterford 640 gsm, rough, 74 x 53 cm.

In St.-Martens-Latem (Belgium) lies this medieval farm, still operating in the ancient tradition . The incandescent light throws a warm shadow over the old bricks and the contrasts in this scenery were so inviting that I made a painting of it.

  • Good Morning, Bruges!

Watercolour on Arches 640 gsm, rough, 74 x 53 cm.

If you have never been to Bruges, a marvel of our small country Belgium, you will notice that ancient architecture can be quite unexpected, especially when the first sunrays throw whimsical patterns of light and shadow over the buildings!
